Since winning his last start, Justin Verlander is now 10-1 with a 2.88 ERA in interleague starts. Needless to say, unless Jason Verlander shows up, odds are this will be a pretty good game for the Tigers if the bats do their thing.
Jim Leyland managed Hernandez with the Marlins, so that'll be fun for him to see him pitch against the Tigers. Magglio Ordonez and Gerald Laird are batting .500 and 1.000 off him, but that's only in a couple at bats. Miguel Cabrera is hitting .344 in 32 at bats (I'm guessing the bulk of those were quite some time ago) against him, so look for him to do well as always.
