MLM Recap: Cale Iorg homers, Rawley Bishop goes 3-4 as Erie beats Harrisburg

AAA: Toledo 3, Indianapolis 2

Andy Oliver gave up 2 runs on 5 hits and 2 walks in 7 innings. He also struck out 7, though no word if he's still throwing too many fastballs. Scott Sizemore was 2-5 with a double. He also made an appearance at SS (are they trying to turn him into a utility player maybe?). Max St Pierre was 1-3 with a walk and a homer while Andy Dirks was 1-3 with a triple.

AA: Erie 5, Harrisburg 3

Duane Below went 5.1 innings, giving up 3 earned runs on 6 hits (one a homer) and a walk with 5 strikeouts. Lester Oliveros pitched a hitless inning, striking out 2. Keep an eye on Oliveros- he's got a ton of potential, though the results in AA haven't quite lived up to that quite yet. Rawley Bishop was 3-4 while Cale Iorg (!!!) hit a homer.

A+: Brevard County 5, Lakeland 2

Adam Wilk gave up 5 runs. But only one was earned, and he apparently gave up all five runs on 6 hits with 6 strikeouts in 5 innings of work. That's an unusual start. Matt Little had 2 hitless innings in which he struck out 4 while Shawn Teufel allowed a hit in his while striking out 3 batters. Daniel Fields was 1-3 with a walk while Jordan Lennarton was 1-3 with a double and a walk.

A: West Michigan 6, Fort Wayne 5

Patrick Cooper went 5 innings, giving up 5 earned runs on 5 hits (2 homers) and 3 walks with 3 strikeouts. Wade Gaynor was 2-4 with a double while Tony Plagman was 2-4 with a homer.

SS: Tri-City 3, Connecticut 2

Brennan Smith gave up 3 earned runs on 7 hits, a homer and 2 walks in his 5.2 innings. He also struck out 4. Matt Perry was 1-4 with a double while Alexander Nunez was 3-4.
