A lot of moves being made: Casper Wells to Detroit, Cale Iorg to Triple-A, Brent Dlugach and Ryan Streiby to the disabled list among others

Sunday

AAA: Toledo 4, Columbus 2

Ryan Ketchner went five scoreless innings, giving up five hits and three walks with no strikeouts. Shawn Roof was 2-for-3 with a double and Cale Iorg was 2-for-4.

Brayan Villarreal went 5.1 innings, allowing five runs (three earned) on 6 hits (one a homer) and five strikeouts. Brandon Douglas was 2-for-3 with a double and a walk.

AA: Erie 3, Reading 2 (Game 2)

The bullpen took the start and all three pitchers pitched... unimpressive. The hitting was OK though, Bryan Pounds being the star with a double. Brandon Douglas was 1-for-2 with a walk as well.

A+: Tampa 4, Lakeland 1 (Game 1)

Luke Putkonen allowed four earned runs in six innings, on six hits, a walk and two home runs with three strikeouts. Jordan Lennarton was 2-for-2 with a walk.

A+: Tampa 8, Lakeland 1 (Game 2)

The bullpen took the start... and not a single pitcher got a strikeout. Jordan Lennarton was 2-for-3 with a double and a homer, and Daniel Fields was 2-for-3.

A: Great Lakes 7, West Michigan 1

The pitching was a train wreck, and the hitting wasn't much better. The gold star goes to Jimmy Gulliver, who was 2-for-4 with a double.

SS: Connecticut vs. Staten Island did not play

Saturday

AAA: Toledo 8, Columbus 4

Casper Wells was 2-for-3 with a triple and a homer. Scott Sizemore was 2-for-5 with a double and a homer and Robizon Diaz was 3-for-5.

AA: Erie vs. Reading postponed (rain)

A+: Tampa 4, Lakeland 1

Jacob Turner went five scoreless innings, giving up four hits and a walk with seven strikeouts. In other news, GM Dave Dombrowski probably thinks he's ready for Detroit. Daniel Fields was 0-for-2 with two walks.

A: West Michigan 11, Great Lakes 4

He didn't start the game, but Jordan Pratt's three strikeouts in his inning of work deserve lots of praise. The offense was OK, too. Avisail Garcia was 4-for-5 and a homer shy of the cycle, Wade Gaynor was 2-for-5 with a walk, Corey Jones was 4-for-5 with a double and Clay Jones was 3-for-5 with a double.

SS: Staten Island 2, Connecticut 0

James Robbins was 2-for-3. Patrick Lawson did OK too, striking out eight in five innings, with four walks and five hits surrendered. He allowed one earned run.

AA: Erie 5, Reading 3

Thad Weber gave up three earned runs and eight hits in his 7.2 innings. He also struck out seven. Lester Oliveros seems to be settling down too- he got three strikeouts in his inning of work, allowing one hit. Bryan Pounds was 3-for-4 with a homer.
