AAA: Toledo 7, Columbus 3

Andy Oliver dominated through 6.2 innings. While he allowed two runs (one earned) off five hits and two walks, he also struck out a whopping 10 batters. Josh Rainwater allowed a run and struck out three over two innings. Cale Iorg was 2-for-3 with a home run and a walk (!) with nary a strikeout (!) while Ben Guez was also 2-for-4.

AA: Altoona 6, Erie 5

Duane Below gave up two earned runs on four hits and two walks with five strikeouts in his 5.1 innings of work. Bryan Pounds was 3-for-4 while catcher John Murrian tripled. Man, it's a weird day for Tigers minor league baseball...

A+: Lakeland at Dunedin postponed

A: Great Lakes 9, West Michigan 3

Patrick Cooper gave up seven earned runs in 4.1 innings, doing so on five hits, three walks and a homer with four strikeouts. Avisail Garcia was 2-for-4 and Wade Gaynor was 1-for-4 with a double.

SS: Tri City 5, Connecticut 4

Josue Carreno had a forgettable night, but the cool thing about this game was that our old friend Ramon Lebron is back! The wild righty caught the loss in relief, but in his two innings of work, he struck out four while walking two. PJ Polk and Julio Rodriguez were both 2-for-5 with a double each while Alexander Nunez was 2-for-4 with a double. Josh Ashenbrenner and Eric Roof also doubled.
