Well, it was fun when it lasted right?

All it took was a starting pitcher who continued not to trust his stuff, a reliever whose stuff seems remarkably ineffective and the typically weak Tigers' offense.

The winning streak ended at ... one.

I guess this was to be expected, what with David Price on the mound for one of the top teams in baseball. They're the windshield. The Tigers are the fly.

But still.

Good news: Gerald Laird got an RBI double. Brennan Boesch hit a solo opposite field home run. Ryan Raburn had two hits and Ramon Santiago one. Brad Thomas pitched two scoreless innings.

And that's about it.
