It's game two of the Tigers' three game series with the Twins. Being 11 games out, divisional games (if not every game) are all pretty much must win for the Tigers at this point.
No matter what happens in the standings, we can expect one Hell of an old-school pitching duel tonight.
The Tigers have their work cut out for them going against the Twins' Francisco Liriano. But the Tigers have a soon-to-be ace up their sleeve in Max Scherzer, who has been nothing short of dominant in the second half of the season.
Let's hope we also get a Max St. Pierre sighting tonight. His is a great story of dogged perseverance that deserves a happy ending...or at least one big league base hit.
