KEY STAT

5 hits: Gotta have more than 5 hits and 3 runs in the postseason. Unfortunately three runs seems to be Detroit's ceiling, as they've only broken past that number three times in nine postseason games.

KEY PLAY

Pick whatever you like. Miguel Cabrera getting thrown out at home in the ninth probably qualifies. Mike Napoli and Nelson Cruz combining to drive in four runs in the 11th. Whatever.

KEY THOUGHTS

Rick Porcello did his job. The bullpen did their job. Brandon Inge even had a game-tying home run. But the Tigers had just five hits. Scored just three runs. That's just not going to do it.

Really nothing more to say than that right now.

And if anyone tries to show up and say what a classic game this was they're going to learn a new set of swear words.
