Ugh. Just a bad day all around. Andy Oliver went 4.2 innings, giving up five earned runs, striking out three, walking four and giving up a home run. John Wagner of the Toledo Blade noted that Oliver might have had a rough start, but that he didn't have his best stuff and he still "managed to pitch effectively". So that's good, I guess. Scott Sizemore was 1-2 with a double and two walks.

Saturday:
Good day for Adam Wilk, who gave up four runs (three earned) over 7.1 innings, striking out seven. Andy Dirks was 3-4 with two home runs and a walk and Scott Sizemore was 2-3 with a stolen base and two walks.
Erie had a field day with Bowie pitching, knocking in a whopping 15 runs. Luke Sorensen went six innings, giving up three runs (one earned) striking out four while walking two. Deik Scram was 3-4 with a triple, a homer and a walk. Ben Guez was 3-3 with three doubles. Bryan Holaday was 2-4 with a stolen base.
Casey Crosby went five innings, giving up one earned run while striking out five and walking three. Ben Guez was 1-2 with a homer.
A+: Brevard County 9, Lakeland 6
This was a bullpen affair that Brevard won in the 11th inning. Jay Voss took the start, walking four and allowing an earned run in two innings. Jordan Lennarton was 3-5 with a double.
Jeff Ferrell went seven innings, allowing four earned runs on three walks and four strikeouts. Billy Nowlin was 1-2 with a walk.
Friday
Duane Below had a good start, striking out six, walking two and giving up an earned run (a solo homer) in 6.1 innings. Timo Perez was 3-4 with a double and Danny Worth was 2-3 with a double, a triple and a walk.

Trevor Feeney gave up two earned runs in 6.1 innings, striking out four and walking two. Julio Rodriguez was 1-3 with a double.
Kevin Eichhorn struck out six batters in 4.2 innings, allowing five earned runs (four earned). Hernan Perez was 2-2 with a walk.
