No link today, but I'd love to hear your thoughts on analysis columns on minor league related stuff. I'm running out of ideas. Post ideas in the comments and if I like them, I'll do them.

Recap time!

AAA: Toledo DNP (off-day)

AA: Erie 9, Binghamton 3

Jacob Turner pitched five innings, allowing three earned runs while walking three, striking out two and allowing a homer. Not a great start, but it could have easily been worse. Lester Oliveros struck out six batters in two innings, which is incredibly special. Jamie Johnson was 4-5 with a stolen base, Fransisco Martinez and Brandon Douglas doubled and Bryan Holaday had a homer.

A+: Clearwater 3, Lakeland 2

This was a close game that went into extra innings ( the game ended in the 14th). Jay Voss pitched four innings for Lakeland, striking out two and giving up two earned runs. Gustavo Nunez was 5-6, Daniel Fields doubled and Wade Gaynor homered.

A: Great Lakes 4, West Michigan 0

Brennan Smith gave up two earned runs in five innings, striking out five and walking one. Luis Castillo was 2-3 with a walk and Rob Brantly doubled.
