Minor League Recap: Casey Crosby goes 5.2 scoreless, Erie beats Binghamton

I really hope the computer stays unbroken this time...

AAA: Toledo 7, Louisville 2

Thad Weber gave up two earned runs in seven innings, striking out five and walking three. Brad Thomas struck out the side in his inning of work. Our old friend Timo Perez was 3-4 with a double and a home run, while Ryan Strieby doubled twice.

AA: Erie 7, Binghamton 1

Casey Crosby struck out six and walked three in 5.2 scoreless innings on his return from the DL. Luis Marte struck out five and walked one over 2.1 innings. Jamie Johnson doubled and walked twice while Fransisco Martinez was 1-4 with a triple.

A+: Clearwater 4, Lakeland 2

Jared Wesson gave up four earned runs in 5.1 innings. Carlos Guillen was 0-2 with a walk in his rehab outing, and Avisail Garcia was 2-5.

A: South Bend 4, West Michigan 2 (11 innings)

Kevin Eichhorn gave up two earned runs and struck out five over eight innings of work. Nick Castellanos had a hit, while Jeff Rowland went 2-3 with a walk.

SS: Connecticut 6, Tri City 0

Tyler Barrett struck out three over five scoreless innings. On the nepotism front, Nicholas Avila pitched a perfect inning with one strikeout. Jeff Holm was 2-5 with a double and (speaking of nepotism) Patrick Leyland was 2-5.
