What to Watch For:
1. Justin Verlander continues his dominance - In his list 3 starts, Verlander is 2-0 with a 3.32 ERA and 12 strikeouts. Unfortunately, the last time Verlander lost a game was against the Mariners on April 27th.

2. Austin Jackson officially out of slump - In the last 10 games, Austin Jackson is hitting an impressive .359 with 5 RBIs. He is 2 for 10 with 3 RBIs against Thursday's starter Doug Fister.

3. Mariners rookie Mike Carp - After being called up and starting at DH on Wednesday night, Carp went 1 for 4 with 1 strikeout. He started the year in Triple-A for the Mariners and has been a dominant force with his bat. In 57 games in the minors, he had a .348 batting average with 19 homeruns and 58 RBIs.

Due to this being a 4-game series, I will break into two parts. Game 3 and 4 Preview will publish Saturday.
