What to Watch For:
1. Zito on short rest - Giants starter Barry Zito will start Saturday night's game on only 3 days rest due to Jonathon Sanchez going on the disabled list. Zito is 7-6 with a 3.09 ERA against Detroit in his career.

2. Sandoval returning to form - Giants third baseman Pablo Sandoval is slowing getting his average up to .300. He is currently on an 11-game hitting streak and is hitting .310 in his last 10 games.

3. Bumgarner not to be ignored - After giving up 8 earned runs while only getting 1 out in his start against the Twins on June 21st, Giants starter Madison Bumgarner pitched an amazing performance against the Indians on Sunday . He went 7 innings, giving up 1 run on 6 hits and striking out 11. In his last 3 starts, Bumgarner is 2-1 with a 7.43 ERA.
