A slow, but steady downward slope in the Tigers' winning percentage was not met by a drop of confidence ... until this week, that is. After the Tigers slid 1.5 games behind the Indians in the Central Division standing and had a couple of awful pitching performances against the Mets and Giants and some cold bats against the Angels, fans appear to have revolted. Or they just feel like the Tigers are revolting. The confidence number came in at 57.9 this week, a drop of 16 points from the relative calm that was the past three weeks.
As for the person who asked about standard deviations and all that, er, sorry! But feel free to check out the poll results and make your own conclusions.
