Best caption for this picture wins a game-worn Will Rhymes jersey from his latest stint in the majors.
What happened so far:
- Utter chaos
- More specifically, Delmon Young started his Tigers career off with a home run in the bottom of the 1st inning.
- The Twins put up 3 runs in the 3rd inning, 3 runs in the 6th inning and 3 more in the 7th. Jim Thome hit his 599th career home run off of Rick Porcello and his 600th off of Daniel Schlereth in the 7th.
- The Tigers scored 2 more runs in the bottom of the 6th to pull within one (at the time). Alex Avila is 3-for-3 and is just a home run away from the cycle.
- Porcello's line: 6 IP, 9 H, 6 R (4 earned), 2 K, 1 BB.
- Ryan Raburn and Wilson Betemit have been a collective comedy of errors defensively. Young, on the other hand, has been pretty good.
Topics from the previous thread:
- Rob's bookshelf (which is already 2/3 full with textbooks, sadly)
- Jim Thome, and how he's apparently a pretty classy guy
- How Central Michigan is screwing over its students (I see you, Ryan)
- Bad fantasy baseball decisions
- Arby's expansion into uncharted wilderness (a.k.a. Marquette)
- Brian Wilson, for some reason
- The idiots at the CoPa doing the wave (to their credit, the standing ovation for Thome was pure class)
