Tigers vs Nationals boxscore
Ryan Raburn hit a home run in the top of the first inning, and the Detroit Tigers led the Washington Nationals for the rest of the night to finally end the sister-kissing that lasted for three games.
Raburn went 2-for-5 in the game with three RBI. His spring average fell to .467 with the performance. "Save some for April and May," the Twitter folk say.
Clete Thomas had a pair of hits to get his average up to .167.
Fifth-starter candidate Duane Below struggled a bit, issuing three walks and allowing four hits in 2 1/3 innings. The only knock against him on the scoreboard came in the first inning after a leadoff double was eventually driven in by a Ryan Zimmerman sacrifice. Adam Wilk allowed a hit in 2 1/3 innings in relief.
Both errors were by Ryan Strieby, if you wondered.
