Twins at Tigers, lineups, Wednesday, May 16

New, 1 comment

Several Tigers have had a couple of looks at Twins starter Nick Blackburn. With 31 plate appearances, Miguel Cabrera's 1.277 OPS against him leads the team. Alex Avila has 13 plate appearances and a 1.189 OPS to show for them. Austin Jackson also has an OPS of better than 1.000, having faced Blackburn 18 times.

On the other side of things, not a lot of current Twins have tallied a lot of looks at Tigers starter Rick Porcello. Denard Span has the most looks, with 25 plate appearances but a .764 OPS. Joe Mauer has just .498 OPS in 19 PA.

Update: Span was a late scratch.
