GIF of the Day: Torii Hunter tries to dupe Lorenzo Cain on routine fly ball

Torii Hunter is known for having a lot of fun while playing baseball. Today, he tried to have some fun at the expense of Royals' center fielder Lorenzo Cain.

In the top of the fourth inning of today's 8-3 loss to the Royals, Lorenzo Cain reached first base on an infield single. Justin Verlander attempted to pick him off during the next at-bat, but had no luck. Torii Hunter then tried to take matters into his own hands on a fly ball off the bat of Mike Moustakas.

Unfortunately for the Tigers, Cain didn't bite on the fake. Instead, like the rest of us, he found the situation to be pretty funny.

Maybe next time Torii can try to fool the umpires into calling strikes for the bullpen.
