Game 35 Overflow: Indians at Tigers

Stuff that happened:

  • The Tigers struck first on Brayan Pena's two-run homer in the bottom of the second inning. It was Pena's second homer of the year.
  • The Indians came back with two runs in the top of the third inning, but that was all Tigers starter Rick Porcello would allow in his six innings of work.
  • The Tigers took a 3-2 lead in the bottom of the fourth on a sacrifice fly from Omar Infante.
  • Jose Valverde blew his first save of the year in agonizing yet predictable fashion.

Thread stuff that happened:

  • Booze
  • We wonder what happened to Victor Martinez
  • More booze
  • Doom
  • Even more booze
