AAA Toledo Mud Hens (8-20)

W, 4-2 vs. Charlotte. Avisail Garcia made his Triple A debut by collecting 2 hits; and Casey Crosby turned in an OK start despite batting his control (surprise!).

-LHP Casey Crosby: 5 IP, 5 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 5 BB, 7 K, ND

-RHP Brayan Villarreal: IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 2 K

-RHP Bruce Rondon: IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 ER, BB, 0 K, Save (4)

-LF Nick Castellanos: 0-4, K

-RF Avisail Garcia: 2-4, R, 2 K

-C Bryan Holaday: 3-3, 2B (5), RBI, R

AA Erie SeaWolves (14-11)

W, 9-1 vs. Binghamton. Kyle Lobstein took a no-hitter into the 7th inning before a bloop single broke it up; and Tyler Collins smashed 2 HR's for the Erie offense.

-LHP Kyle Lobstein: 7 IP, H, R, ER, 2 BB, 6 K, W (3-2)

-CF Daniel Fields: 2-5, R, 2 K, SB (5)

-SS Hernan Perez: 1-5, 3B (1), R

-DH Ramon Cabrera: 1-3, 2B (8), 2 RBI, 2 R, BB

-LF Tyler Collins: 2-4, 2 HR (5), 5 RBI, 2 R.

*After the game, it was announced that C/DH Ramon Cabrera had been promoted to AAA Toledo. Also, SS Eugenio Suarez has been promoted to Erie from Lakeland. I would assume that this pushes Hernan Perez to 2B, while Suarez takes over SS. Don't be surprised if Suarez struggles. The jump from A+ to AA is monumental.

A+ Lakeland Flying Tigers (11-15)

L, 6-2 vs. Daytona. Drew VerHagen returned from the DL to make the start, but he got touched up a bit. Jeff McVaney was really the lone bright spot on offense, collecting 3 more hits.

-RHP Drew VerHagen: 5 IP, 8 H, 6 R, 5 ER, BB, 5 K, L (0-3)

-2B Tyler Hanover: 2-5, R

-CF Chad Wright: 2-4, 2B (3), R

-RF Jeff McVaney: 3-4, 3B (3), 2 RBI

-C Pat Leyland: 2-4

A West Michigan Whitecaps (12-13)

W, 4-3 vs. Cedar Rapids (10 innings). Jordan John put together a solid start, but the bullpen shut the door, which allowed Danry Vasquez to hit a walk-off RBI single in the 10th inning.

-LHP Jordan John: 5 1/3 IP, 5 H, 3 R, 3 ER, 2 BB, 6 K, ND

-RHP Chad Smith: 2 IP, H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 0 K
