Red Sox utility infielder Jose Iglesias has been very impressive at the plate this season, hitting .431/.482/.578 through his first 31 games this year. Yes, that is largely fueled by a .494 BABIP, but his performance has still helped the Red Sox jump out to an early season division lead in the brutal AL East.
Tonight, Iglesias added to his tally with a single in the fifth inning. He tried to stretch the play into a double, but QWOP'd himself past second base for the final out of the inning.
