GIF of the Day: Andy Dirks reaches base on epic Royals defensive miscue

Eric Hosmer and Jeremy Guthrie didn't communicate on a routine ground ball, and the results were quite entertaining.

Thankfully, Andy Dirks hustles all the time. Otherwise, this routine ground ball to Royals first baseman Eric Hosmer wouldn't have been that entertaining.

Jeremy Guthrie's lollygagging didn't hurt either. The Tigers tacked on a couple of crucial runs later in the inning to tie the score at five.
