DETROIT — Thursday afternoon the Tigers announced the 2015 schedule for Spring Training, which will feature a rare exhibition match-up between the Orioles. The schedule is highlighted by games against the Nationals, as well as the Yankees.
The Tigers will open the exhibition season at home and play Florida Southern College on March 2, as per the usual. The Grapefruit League opening game on March 3 will be against the Orioles in one of three games played.
On St. Patrick's Day, March 17, the Tigers will host the Nationals in Lakeland, and again on March 22. The Yankees will visit the Tigers on March 20 and April 2, and the Cardinals will come to town on March 28.
Tickets for the 2015 spring exhibition season will be priced at three separate levels: Navy, Orange and White. Navy games will be held on March 17, March 20, March 26, March 28, April 2, and April 3.
Orange contests will be on March 3, March 5, March 9, March 14, March 21, March 22, March 30, and March 31.
White games will be played on March 2, March 8, March 12, and March 25.
Full season tickets for the exhibition season will go on sale Monday, November 17 at Joker Marchant Stadium or tigers.com, and individual tickets will go on sale January 10 at 10:00 a.m.
