The Tigers announced their promotional schedule for the 2014 season today, and it includes quite a haul for season ticket holders. Max Scherzer, Justin Verlander, and Miguel Cabrera will each have their own bobbleheads, and fans will also be able to pick up a Cabrera replica batting champion trophy and an Ivan Rodriguez collectible figurine. The team will also host a 30 year anniversary celebration for the 1984 champions on June 30th against the Oakland Athletics. The first 20,000 fans through the gates that night will receive a replica road jersey.
Along with the giveaways (listed in the table below), the club will also host 17 post-game fireworks shows on Friday and Saturday evenings. Children ages 14 and under will receive a free promotional item on Sundays, along with free carousel and ferris wheel rides. Highlights of the giveaways for children include a Torii Hunter Silver Slugger mini bat on April 20th and a Joe Nathan Fathead on June 8th.
