There isn't too much to add to this. Chet Lemon established himself as The Man -- or Dusty Butt, if you believe Rod Allen -- in the 1980s, and was asked to throw out the ceremonial first pitch on Opening Day.

Everyone (besides the organization) joked about the possibility of Omar Vizquel coming back to play shortstop in a pinch, but if I were Dave Dombrowski, I'd keep Chet's number on speed dial if Austin Jackson hits the disabled list at any point.
