Torii Hunter had a huge weekend against the Baltimore Orioles, hitting home runs in three consecutive games. His solo shot to left field in the fourth inning today was the only offense the Tigers could muster against starting pitcher Chris Tillman, who went 8 1/3 innings.
In case you missed them, here are Hunter's home runs from Friday (off Miguel Gonzalez)...
...and Saturday (off Bud Norris).
Hunter will have a chance to add to his streak when he faces Los Angeles Dodgers starter Dan Haren on Tuesday. Haren has allowed 28 home runs in each of the past two seasons.
