The Zubaz epidemic took over thanks to Joba Chamberlain who has said that his goofball personality is an understatement to say the least. Sunday night the Tigers tried to fly to Cleveland for their next three-game series.
It started out innocently enough...

A bit much but they toned it down...

The beard is clearly strong with Joba Chamberlain and I'm sure sweet lullabies are being sung on a nightly basis with the guitar...

These were better, not overwhelming and the Justin Verlander photobomb adds a nice touch...

But then things went south, very quickly...
Not long after, Ian Krol tweeted the unfortunate news...
Plane broke, stuck in *Boston till tomorrow..

Our Zubaz were too much for the plane to handle. Lets try again tomorrow

The only Tigers player who wasn't able to participate in the festivities was Drew Smyly, who flew to Cleveland on Sunday ahead of the team as he starts for the Tigers Monday night.
The Zubaz continue to induce all manner of silliness and is just the latest example of how much fun the Tigers are having. Given that they are on a six-game winning streak, eleven straight road games and currently hold the best record in baseball--which sits at 27-12--you can't really blame them.
