Less than 15 minutes before the non-waiver trade deadline, the Tigers agreed to a three-team trade that brought in David Price and sent away Austin Jackson, Drew Smyly, and prospect Willy Adames. You can follow all of BYB's coverage here.
The trade bolsters an already solid rotation into one of the most formidable in the game, but leaves a hole in center field which will most likely be filled by Rajai Davis, Don Kelly, and maybe Andy Dirks. Another result is that Drew Smyly will no longer be available out of the postseason bullpen.
Let us know how you feel about the trade. Did the Tigers increase their odds of winning the World Series this year? What about in years to come? Was it worth it?
