SB Nation partners with FanDuel, where fantasy baseball wins you real money

Do you like fantasy baseball? Do you like money? If so, this is the post for you.

If you buy something from an SB Nation link, Vox Media may earn a commission. See our ethics statement.

SB Nation has entered into an exclusive partnership with FanDuel, a gigantic daily fantasy sports site. There are plenty of different styles of play, but the important part is this: you can win real money.

FanDuel has been around since 2009, when it basically pioneered the latest craze in fantasy sports: daily games that keep you in the mix even if you drafted a terrible roster. They pay out nearly $6 million in winnings on a weekly basis -- provided you don't go out and pick Delmon Young in your lineup everyday.

The good folks at FanDuel and SB Nation (I'm not really sure which one, specifically) gave me some money to play around with when the partnership was originally forged, and... well, I haven't really spent much of it yet. That's on me, though (moving sucks). If my performance in our official BYB fantasy leagues is any indication, I'll be broke by next week. However, you could win money because you're better at this than I am.

Here is a quick video that shows you how to play:

Now, before we get too far, realize that this is not 'Nam. There are rules, which you can read here. The important one? If you live in Arizona, Iowa. Louisiana, Minnesota, or Washington, you can't play for money. Sorry.

Still interested? Good! FanDuel is hosting a one day, $18,000 fantasy baseball league for tonight's games. It's just $2 to join and the top prize is $2,000. Here's the link -- and be sure to check out my name near the bottom of the standings later on.
