ALDS Games 4, NLDS Games 3 open thread

Another full day of baseball, and it's a beautiful thing. You should root for the Royals and Blue Jays, because a Game 5 is awesome, and two is twice as nice.

Kansas City Royals at Houston Astros, Game 4

Time: 1:00 p.m. ET

Media: FS1

Pitching: RHP Yordano Vetnura (13-8, 4.08 ERA) vs. RHP Lance McCullers (6-7, 3.22 ERA)

The Astros lead the series 2-1, so the Royals will need a win to force a Game 5.

Toronto Blue Jays at Texas Rangers, Game 4

Time: 4:00 p.m. ET

Media: FS1

Pitching: RHP R.A. Dickey (11-11, 3.91 ERA) vs. LHP Derek Holland (4-3, 4.91 ERA)

The Blue Jays were able to avoid the sweep on Sunday, but they'll still need two more wins to advance. Facing Derek Holland today might give them a fighting chance.

St. Louis Cardinals at Chicago Cubs, Game 3

Time: 6:00 p.m. ET

Media: TBS

Pitching: RHP Michael Wacha (17-7, 3.38 ERA) vs. Jake Arrieta (22-6, 1.77 ERA)

This series is tied at one game each, but the Cubs have a heavy advantage with Arrieta taking the mound at Wrigley. But never count out the Cardinals in October.

Los Angeles Dodgers at New York Mets, Game 3

Time: 8:30 p.m. ET

Media: TBS

Pitching: LHP Brett Anderson (10-9, 3.69 ERA) vs. RHP Matt Harvey (13-8, 2.71 ERA)

The Mets will run out of studly young pitchers eventually, I think, but apparently we're not there yet. Check back tomorrow.
