Pitching: RHP Jake Arrieta (22-6, 1.77 ERA) vs. RHP Noah Syndergaard (9-7, 3.24 ERA)

So far this postseason, Jake Arrieta twirled an 11-strikeout shutout against the Pirates in the wild card game,but then failed to qualify for a Quality Start in his outing against the Cardinals in the NLDS. In Syndergaard's lone postseason start he pitched into the eighth innings against the Dodgers, allowing three runs.
