Video: Tigers turn spectacular double play against Mets

Lucky? Amazing? A bit of both? This double play is worth another look.

Brad Barr-USA TODAY Sports

The Tigers are playing the Atlanta Braves right now -- they're currently leading 4-0 and Justin Verlander looks pretty good, by all accounts -- but the game is not on television. Yesterday's matchup against the New York Mets was, and the Tigers turned a pretty slick double play behind pitcher Josh Zeid.

Yes, this happened yesterday, but it's spring training for us too and I was hell-bent on finishing the current season of House of Cards last night. Andrew Romine's twin-killing got Zeid out of a jam in the sixth inning, but the Tigers went on to lose 5-4 on a walk-off home run in the ninth.
