Current Twins right fielder and former Detroit Tigers player Torii Hunter got ejected last month for arguing about the strike zone. Hunter responded by stripping half of his uniform and throwing his jersey and gloves every which way. It was an epic meltdown.
Well, during batting practice on Friday afternoon, Tigers players decided that was the perfect opportunity to recreate that same scene. Enhanced by added dramatics, of course.
There was play-by-play on the part of the beat writers:
David Price and Anibal Sanchez just stripped half their stuff off and threw it on the ground by the cage to mess with Torii Hunter.— Chris Iott (@Chris_Iott) July 10, 2015
Funny scene down on the field. David Price just mimicked Torii Hunter's ejection and took off his jersey, shoes and pants and threw them.— Rhett Bollinger (@RhettBollinger) July 10, 2015

And the most crucial evidence of all. Video proof of the ongoing shenanigans ... with Hunter in the batting cage laughing so hard he could be heard on the other side of the infield.

Anibal Sanchez's depiction of the scene might have actually been better than the original incident, if we're honest here. But you be the judge.
