In the midst of a season of ups and downs, the Tigers' Double-A affiliate Erie SeaWolves have a reason to celebrate with outfielder Wynton Bernard, recently promoted designated hitter Dean Green and pitcher Michael Fulmer being named to the 2015 Eastern League All-Star team on Friday.

The team is compiled through the voting process completed by members of the Eastern League management and coaching staff, as well as select media personnel.

Bernard has seemingly made it his mission to secure any and every possible honor as he has reached the home stretch of his second season within the Tigers' minor league organization. Bernard's selection secures his second consecutive season to be selected for an All-Star honor, after being named to the Midwest League All-Star team in 2014 with the West Michigan Whitecaps. In 123 games with the SeaWolves, Bernard is hitting .296/.344/.400 with a team-high 145 hits, 70 runs and 39 stolen bases.

Before receiving his second promotion to the Triple-A Toledo Mud Hens this season, Dean Green continued to pound away at percentages that only continue to solidify his worth at the plate. With the SeaWolves, Green hit .312/.389/.491 with 15 home runs and 60 RBI. In addition to his previous selection as the starting designated hitter for the Western Division All-Star team, Green currently stands with a league third-highest in batting average (.312), on base percentage (.389) and slugging percentage (.491).

For Michael Fulmer, Friday's honors also included the esteemed title of Eastern League Pitcher of the Year, in addition to his All-Star selection. In 20 starts between the Binghamton Mets and the SeaWolves, combined for a record of 10-3 with a 2.06 ERA and 112 strikeouts. Fulmer was transitioned to Erie on July 31 as a part of the Yoenis Cespedes trade with the Tigers. In 27 2/3 innings for the SeaWolves, Fulmer has compiled a 4-1 record with 29 strikeouts and a 1.05 WHIP.
