Outlook

Same old story, same old song and dance. Two fantastic pitchers facing each other in a VERY important game. As always, this one could go either way.

Hitters to fear are Dexter Fowler (.440 BA in 25 career AB vs Kershaw) from Chicago and Corey Seager (.308 BA, 26 HR, led team in WAR with 6.1 in 2016) from Los Angeles.

Prediction

I don’t really want to bet against either the Cubs or Kershaw. I’ll go out on a limb and say Kershaw implodes and is out by the 3rd inning after giving up home runs to Kris Bryant and Anthony Rizzo (one to the pull field and one to the opposite field), and after striking out Fowler twice.
