Cleveland Indians at Toronto Blue Jays (Indians lead series 3-1)
Time/Place: 4 p.m. ET, Rogers Centre
TV: TBS
Pitching Matchup: LHP Ryan Merritt (1.64 ERA in 11 IP in the MLB, all in 2016) vs RHP Marco Estrada (3.48 ERA)
Outlook
Merritt is a rookie, and as previously mentioned, has only pitched 11 innings total at the Major League level (all in 2016). Estrada is still a very good pitcher and will give Merritt a run for his money.
Hitters to fear are Josh Donaldson (37 HR, 99 RBI in 2016) from Toronto and Carlos Santana (3 for 5, 1 HR career against Estrada) from Cleveland.
Prediction
The Indians punch their ticket to the World Series, because baseball.
Chicago Cubs at Los Angeles Dodgers (Dodgers lead series 2-1)
Time/Place: 8 p.m. ET, Dodger Stadium
TV: Fox Sports 1
Pitching Matchup: RHP John Lackey (3.35 ERA) vs HP Julio Urias (3.39 ERA)
Outlook
Urias is set to become the youngest pitcher to ever start a League Championship series game, at the age of 20 years and 68 days. Lackey is on the other end of the spectrum at 37 years old. This will be a great game, especially because of how evenly matched the pitchers are.
Hitters to fear are Carlos Ruiz (.429 BA in 7 AB career against Lackey) from Los Angeles and Kris Bryant (2 for 6, 1 HR career against Urias) from Chicago.
Prediction
The Dodgers roll behind Urias and take this one as well.
