World Series Open Thread: Chicago Cubs at Cleveland Indians

The Indians won Game One in dramatic fashion. What will happen this evening?

MLB: World Series-Chicago Cubs at Cleveland Indians David Richard-USA TODAY Sports

Chicago Cubs at Cleveland Indians (Indians lead series 1-0)

Time/Place: Progressive Field, 7:00 p.m. ET
TV: FOX
National Anthem/First Pitch: LOCASH (country music duo), Carlos Baerga
Pitching Matchup: RHP Jake Arrieta (18-8, 3.10 ERA) vs RHP Trevor Bauer (12-8, 4.26 ERA)

Outlook

The Indians rolled behind Kluber last night. Boy, was he on FIRE. He struck out eight Cubs in the first three innings of play in game one. Tonight, they’ll have to rely on Bauer. There is much uncertainty surrounding him, though he should be set to go despite the drone injury.

Hitter to fear are Mike Napoli (2 for 8, HR career against Arrieta) from Cleveland and Addison Russell (2 for 3 career against Bauer) from Chicago.

Prediction

The Cubs tie up the series at one.
