Cleveland Indians at Chicago Cubs (Series tied 1-1)
Time/Place: 8 p.m. ET, Wrigley Field
TV: Fox
National Anthem: Patrick Stump (lead singer from Fall Out Boy)
First Pitch: Billy Williams (former Cubs outfielder, MLB HOF member)
Pitching Matchup: RHP Chris Tomlin (4.40 ERA in 2016 season) vs RHP Kyle Hendricks (2.13 ERA in 2016 season)
Outlook
This is going to be a good one. Hendricks is fresh off his two hit start on Saturday night, and he has an ERA of 1.65 this postseason. Tomlin has been lights out this postseason as well; he’s given up only three runs in 10 2⁄3 innings.
Hitters to fear are Carlos Santana (.259 BA, 34 HR in 2016 regular season) from Cleveland and Kris Bryant (.292 BA, 34 HR in 2016 regular season) from Chicago.
Prediction
I do not see the Indians winning this one. The Wrigley crowd is going to be HYPED- they paid at least $3,000 for their tickets. As always in baseball, anything can happen, but I think the Cubs will take this one.
