First Pitch: Greg Maddux and Fergie Jenkins (former Cubs pitchers, MLB HOF members)

Pitching Matchup: RHP Corey Kluber (18-9, 3.14 ERA) vs RHP John Lackey (11-8, 3.35 ERA)

Outlook

After last night’s game, nothing will surprise me. I thought it was going to be a slugfest, but we saw a total of one run between the two teams. Both starters will have their hands full with the opposing team’s lineup- I don’t see both offenses staying asleep for a second night in a row.

Hitters to fear are Anthony Rizzo (1 for 3, 1 RBI career against Kluber) from Chicago and Rajai Davis (.412 BA, 3 RBI in 17 AB career against Lester) from Cleveland.

Prediction

It is soooo hard to not pick the Cubs at Wrigley Field but Kluber was incredible in game one. Just for funsies, I’ll say that Kluber becomes the Indians version of 2014 World Series Madison Bumgarner... except the Cubs get to him in game seven, much to the dismay of the Indians fans.
