‘Tis the season for gathering together with family and friends, sharing the warmth of the holidays, giving gifts, and giving thanks. While the rest of us drink our eggnog and unwrap presents from Santa, the Detroit Tigers’ players were doing the same thing. A few of them took to social media to share their Christmas Day with fans.
The official Tigers Instagram got us started with a cheery emoji-themed Christmas wish.
Pitcher Matt Boyd helped his nephew enjoy his first Christmas.
Justin Verlander had a DIY solution for running out of Christmas wrapping paper.
Pretty clever, JV.
James McCann kept with the religious tone for his holiday greeting.
Ian Kinsler was especially festive, sharing his family’s snowman making contest, as well as a little Snapchat caroling with his sister.
Really, Ian Kinsler is a gift to us all.
Drew VerHagen wished everyone the best.
Shane Greene showed off his tree.
And Buck Farmer nicely summarized everyone’s sentiments.
Merry Christmas to everyone! Hope it's a blessed day!— Buck Farmer (@B_Farm09) December 25, 2016
Hope you all had Christmases as lovely as the Tigers did. Happy holidays!
