Lettuce played shortstop for the Tigers today

While there were quite a few new players trotted out during today's game, Southern Florida's website introduced an intriguing new player to Tigers' fans.

Lettuce introduce you to Andrew Romaine:

He is never going to kale the team but he did look crisp and managed to keep his cool. Romaine might be a little green, but he rarely wilts under pressure. With Iglesias' injury history, its a releaf to have the team dressing the need for a second shortstop. Glad we could wedge him into the lineup. And with a little hard work, he can definitely get a-head in this game.

Today's game was only the tip of the iceberg, excited to see how Romaine pans out.
