Wild things tend to happen in the minor leagues, but this one is just plain awesome. Tigers shortstop prospect Dixon Machado stole home -- stole home -- in the first inning of tonight's game between Triple-A Toledo and Indianapolis.
There isn't any other embeddable video (thanks, MiLB) but it looks like a straight steal that caught Indy starter Steven Brault off guard. Toledo won tonight's game 3-0 thanks to Machado's steal and a dominant performance from Michael Fulmer.
