Tyler Collins hit a go-ahead three-run home run in the top of the 11th inning and Jeff Ferrell worked a second scoreless inning in relief to deliver a win for the Mud Hens. Collins finished the game with three hits and four RBI, while Dixon Machado added four RBI of his own. Starter Matt Boyd was wilder than usual, allowing six hits and four walks in 4 2/3 innings.

SeaWolves starter Cory Riordan was roughed up, allowing seven runs on nine hits in 5 2/3 innings. The Erie offense did their best to keep pace early on, scoring four runs on seven hits against Thunder starter Jordan Montgomery. Trenton reliever Matt Wotherspoon shut the door from there, striking out eight in four scoreless innings. Dean Green provided most of Erie's offense with two home runs and three RBI.

This game was scoreless for two innings, then it was bombs away for the Lakeland offense. They exploded for 11 runs on 13 hits, including a grand slam from Michael Gerber. Gerber also added a pair of doubles, and finished the night a triple shy of the cycle. Ross Kivett drove in a pair of runs, and catcher Grayson Greiner reached base four times. Starter Tyler Alexander picked up his first win of the year with six shutout innings of work.

Derek Hill led off the game with a single, stole second base, and scored a run on a Will Allen single. That would be the extent of the Whitecaps' offense for the evening, as they stranded 11 runners on base. Starter Matt Hall tossed an excellent game, allowing a run in five innings while striking out seven. Reliever Toller Boardman was tagged with the loss despite holding Quad Cities to one unearned run in three innings.
