Tides starter Ariel Miranda limited the Mud Hens to three hits and three walks in six shutout innings, and the Norfolk bullpen combined for seven strikeouts in three innings. The Mud Hens offense managed just five hits and only advanced one runner to third base in the game. Offensively, the Flying Tigers were led by four home runs from four different players, including shots from Joey Pankake and Ross Kivett in the eighth inning.
