Ben Verlander has had an eventful season so far. It started in spring training when he took his All-Star brother deep. Then, on Friday, Ben was called on to pitch the eighth inning of their blowout loss to the Bradenton Marauders. Ben showed some Vintage Verlander pitches when he threw a scoreless frame. Justin took notice.
Sooo... Not only does my li'l bro @Verly32 hit a bomb off me in ST. Now he also sports a smooth 0.00 era. #winning @LkdFlyingTigers

Thanks man! Really been working hard in the bullpen the last few years. Glad it finally paid off https://t.co/mzIu0bcMDl

It should be interesting to see what Ben does for an encore. Is there a starting pitching gig in his future? No, no there is not, but we will take some more home runs.
