The Detroit Tigers beat up on Houston Astros pitching all weekend. But no one got it worse than last year’s AL Cy Young winner. Dallas Keuchel put himself on the hook in the very first inning of Sunday’s contest. It was James McCann who brought the billy club to his former college teammate, launching his first career grand slam.

McCann's bomb put the Tigers up 6-0 as they cruised to a sweep for the second straight series. The grand slam was McCann's third home run in the last four games. He clearly didn't take kindly to all that Jonathan Lucroy talk. Of course it doesn't hurt a catcher's chances when he knows the pitcher so well.
