With TigerFest and the Tigers Caravan just around the corner, the first signs of baseball’s return to Detroit are starting to crop up. And just like the first blades of grass to emerge after the snow, they bring with them a sense of hope for the season ahead.

The Tigers roster wasted no time getting back into the Detroit sports scene. Last night the team made visits to both the Detroit Pistons and Detroit Red Wings to support the city’s other athletes.

A huge chunk of the team got together at the Pistons game, looking excited to be back together. Nice to see all three Justins and both Alexes in one place! Seems like Alex Avila has already seamlessly transitioned back into the crew. Daniel Norris has also cultivated a truly majestic winter beard.

Here reppin' Detroit!! Let's go #detroitpistons #reppindetroit #basketball #teammates #detroittigers

Meanwhile over at the Joe Louis Arena, James McCann and Michael Fulmer donned their new custom Red Wings jerseys to take in a hockey game.

It’s great to see the team back in Detroit, spending time together, and clearly excited for the year ahead. As for the fans, it’s a warm reminder that spring really is just around the corner, and baseball isn’t far away.
