Spring training is here, and the Tigers are as excited as we are

The most important day in February is here. No, not Groundhog Day. Not Leap Day either. What year do you think this is? Obviously, not Valentine’s... well, okay, yes, it is also Valentine’s Day, but that’s irrelevant. It’s the first official day of spring training! Today, pitchers and catchers report for active duty in Lakeland, Florida.

If you think you’re excited, you have nothing on the players, who have taken to social media to express their delight with heading back to work.

Justin Verlander has clearly been counting down the seconds.

Bruce Rondon gave us our first look at the Tigers new clubhouse, and it’s looking pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty good.

The boys are back.

Forget bouquets of flowers, just given me a collection of pitchers on the field any day.
