In which the staff discovers that talking is easier than writing.

Folks, we’re finally home. Baseball is back, and all will be right with the world as soon as Justin Verlander takes the mound on Monday Tuesday. All around the internet, previews and predictions from all perspectives are so plentiful it’s difficult to keep up with it all. On top of our usual Detroit Tigers coverage, a few members of the Bless You Boys staff have been guests on various podcasts and radio programs in the past few weeks. If you need something other than sports talk radio to get you through the workday, we’ve got some alternate options for you.

BYB managing editor, Rob Rogacki, stopped by two of our AL Central sister sites’ podcasts in recent days. He joined South Side Sox on their podcast to preview the Tigers for their look at the White Sox and the division at large. Rob was also a guest with Royals Review Radio, where a few key topics involved the Tigers center field situation, Brad Ausmus in his fourth year at the helm, and the Tigers’ strengths and weaknesses.

Our friend Maija Varda, managing editor of Twinkie Town also makes a guest appearance to talk Minnesota Twins baseball. Discussion centers around the Twins bullpen and pitching staff, and why all those Brian Dozier trade rumors never came to fruition.

Staff writer Brandon Day also joined Michael Spath’s Inside the Huddle radio program, found on 1050 AM out of Ann Arbor, Michigan. The discussion ping-pongs around several different Tigers topics, including why the Tigers lineup and defense is consistently an uncomfortable fit in Comerica Park. The format is rapid-fire questions, followed by Brandon’s typically winding and tangent seeking answers.

Thanks to Royals Review, South Side Sox, and Inside the Huddle for the invitations
