After Jim Adduci was a late scratch, Andrew Romine was added to the roster to play centerfield in the first game of the Tigers’ series against the Los Angeles Angels. The Angels, of course, are Romine’s former team.
In his first at-bat of the game, following a James McCann single, Romine hit his second home run of the season, a near-foul to right field that squeaked inside the pole.

Romine has never hit more than two home runs in a season, but his first one of 2017 was the incredibly memorable grand slam on April 12.
