Efren Navarro’s solo home run was one of just two hits for Toledo.

Kody Eaves added a three-run homer.

Austin Sodders and the Whitecaps bullpen held the Captains to just two hits in an easy shutout victory. Sodders worked six innings while striking out six and walking one for his fifth win of the season. Offensively, the Whitecaps collected six doubles as they built an early lead. Jacob Robson drove in a pair of runs for West Michigan, while Josh Lester led the team with three hits.
